Description
Another World, known as 'Out of This World' in NA and 'Outer World' in Japan, saw numerous releases with significant changes to both gameplay content and music.

The original releases were on Amiga and Atari ST, and features the musical score by J.F. Freitas. The Atari ST had slightly rougher sounds due to hardware differences, but was based on the same score. Later, a MS-DOS port was made with digitized score with an AdLib version.

Interplay later made an SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis port. These versions received brand new in-game music, but retained the original Intro Theme.

A later 3DO version once again added a brand new score, and removed the original Into Theme.

A special Sega CD release combined the game and its sequel, and added new in-game music by J.F. Freites for the first time.

In 2004, a mobile and Windows XP version was released which included new Intro and Ending music by J.F. Freitas.

Lastly, the 15th & 20th Anniversary Editions are remasters.
