Fallout / Fallout / Fallout

The Fallout series was born out of, and inspired by, Interplay / Black Isle developer Brian Fargo, whose 1980s PC underground hit "Wasteland" used a similar setting.

To date, all games in this series take place in a post-nuclear, post-apocalyptic United States after a WW3-esque scenario involving the United States, China, and other nation states bombarding one another with nuclear weapons in the late 21st century.

The first two entries in the series had music written by Mark Morgan. Since then, the developers have primarily relied on Inon Zur for music composition.
