There's a little confusion with the Atlus/Index organizations.
Atlus is now under Index control, so they became publisher ? ![]() Most Japanese albums will be like this, and even with "Published by ATLUS" written, it have became an imprint ? (pic taken from that entry) What about Atlus USA ? |

The USA website says this:
"ATLUS is a brand of Index Corporation and its privately held subsidiary, Index Digital Media, Inc." |

So like 5pb., now we need Atlus as an imprint.

Even though Index apparently acquired Atlus already in October 2010, we have in the db a couple of physical releases released after that which do not appear to mention Index in the scans. The earliest which does, as far as I can tell, is PERSONA2 INNOCENT SIN. MINI SOUND TRACK. In cases such as this I suppose we should give precedence to what the scans say, over the acquisition/merger date?
In fact, in this case, judging by scans, isn't Atlus still the sole publisher? And Index merely holds the copyrights? In which case, do we even need to mention or have a page for Index at all, if it only acts as owner? We could just make a mention of the acquisition in the description/notes field for the Atlus entry. |

That's a very interesting point.
