Rachel Bolt (also known as Rachel Stephanie Bolt)is an English viola player. She has given concerts all over the world; played on film and TV soundtracks and has participated in thousands of recordings. These have included tracks for Amy Winehouse: (Rehab, Valerie, Back to Black), Adele: (the albums "19" and "21"). Also recordings with Joni Mitchell, Sam Smith, Sigma, Robbie Williams, Florence Welch, One Direction, Take That, Coldplay, Emily Sande and Paloma Faith to name a few..... Classical CD's include works with the Nash Ensemble and a solo viola recording of Britten's Curlew River with Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. Rachel won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music and was a Fulbright Scholar at The University of Sothern California; she remains indebted to her viola professors Stephen Shingles and Donald Mcinnes for their kindness and inspirational teaching.
