Yu Suzuki, also known as YU., is the president and CEO of YS NET. He is best-known as the Programmer/Director/Producer of classic SEGA games such as Hang-On, AFTER BURNER, Virtua Fighter, Shenmue and more.

One of Suzuki's earliest games, Space Harrier, also features 2 songs written by him: "IDA" and "VALDA". While in Junior High School, Suzuki played in a rock band.

Suzuki most frequently works with composers Hiroshi Kawaguchi (Space Harrier, Out Run, AFTER BURNER, Power Drift, etc.), Yasuhiro Takagi (G-LOC, F355 Challenge, Shenmue II, etc.) Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (Virtua Racing, Virtua Fighter 2 & 3, Shenmue, etc.) and Takayuki Nakamura (Virtua Fighter 1~3, Shenmue III, Air Twister, etc.)
