Yukifumi Makino joined SEGA Enterprises in 1989, as a member of the Human Resources Department. He transferred to the sound team a year later, and most famously created sound effects/music data for the first Sonic the Hedgehog game, including the famous Timer/Drowning jingle. He became an album producer in 1993 with Seima Densetsu 3x3 Eyes from MEGA-CD, a sound director in 1993 with Sonic the Hedgehog CD, and a game producer in 1997 with Sakura Wars Steam Radio Show.
