Shigemitsu Goto began creating audio for video games with TOSE in the Super Nintendo era. He moved to Tokyo in 1997 where he worked with Brainstorm, HUMAN and TYO.

His range expanded after going freelance in 2000, working on TV dramas (My Dandyism, The Killer Bees, Konno-san to Asobo), films (Saibanchou! Koko wa choueki 4-nen de dousuka) and TV shows (A-STUDIO, Kira Kira Afro, Tensai TV kun) and many commercials.

He has continued to work in the video game industry on titles such as the Tamagotchi series, Spelunker HD, Just dance kids series and Yakuza / Like a Dragon series.
