I just ordered this being that I like to collect Wild Arms stuff. Am I to understand this is just vocal acting and not music? Just curious

Yes, that's generally what drama CDs are. Just extra story/skits with the characters from the game. There's usually music from the game playing in the background and there might be some standalone music tracks thrown in as a bonus, but the bulk of it is talking.

Sometimes there will actually be original music written for the drama tracks, different from what's in the game, but not always. But again, it would be played behind the voices, so not great if you just want to enjoy the music like you would a soundtrack.

I own a couple of 3x3 Eyes albums that are about half drama, half original standalone compositions. In those cases, I just don't rip the drama tracks so I'm left with a short music-only album.
