8cm mini CD

Hi there,
I'd like to know if japanese 8cm mini CDs was sold at the time with their original jewel case, in a plastic sleeve, or maybe without anything?

Most were sold in "snap pack" cases which were like small rectangular digipaks. They were designed so you could cleanly break off part of the inner plastic and fold or cut the outer cardboard down to fit into a square plastic case that you'd have to buy separately. You can see how this worked if you look up "japanese snap pack cd single."

I think the correct answer is "without anything", meaning without the clear plastic jewel case.

But since I own a few brand new albums, including Konami Sound Catalog Vol. 3, I can tell you it didn't come with a proper shrinkwrap/seal, but inside a resealable baggy. So I think at least some of them came that way from the factory. Yahoo Auctions should be of good help, just look for brand new 8 cm discs to see how they are packed, and bingo:

Btw, I bought a few stickered mini CDs yesterday.
This SF2 comes in a thicker sleeve, which contains a 2nd sticker :

Also, this one seems to be packed in a shrinkwrap as you said, containing the sticker. I have got it already since my teenage but it was already packed as a square, and it didn't have the stickered shrinkwrap. I hopefully found it yesterday as brand new
