@Arc1984
A couple of things about these. There really can't be a fan remaster album. That would basically be a game rip passed through some filters, which isn't eligible for an album entry. For this album, he uses the term remake, and I think he is just taking the original music and arranging it for a different sound chip, which should be eligible as a arrangement. Now it is possible he is just using some program to generate these automatically from an nsf file, so I am going to have to rely your judgement to determine if that is the case. |

Just did a comparison-listen between this album and the official one (Rockman 10 Original Soundtrack - https://vgmdb.net/album/17834), and you might be right.
By "remake", I suppose the author meant "remaster" (which doesn't sound so either), and what *his* definition of "remaster" is, no one knows. But since you brought it up, I think it's safe to re-categorize it as an arrangement album of sorts, because from what I hear, they sound flat and monotonous in some parts, and in other segments as if applied with a stereo-mix edit via audio software straight from the game files (with the third track being the most obvious), plus the term "remake" - as you pointed out - is quite fishy, too. |
