> Her best known soundtrack is Konami's Castlevania,[1] which was also her debut work. She was co-credited with Satoe Terashima under the pseudonym James Banana for her work on the Nintendo Entertainment System version of the game. This pseudonym was a pun of the name James Bernard, the composer of the 1958 film Dracula.

Do we really need a James Banana entry? Once upon a time a million years ago I deleted all alias links to James Banana because it seems fairly clear to me that Castlevania just has a gag movie credits parody that's not actually intended to represent the development staff. These are the entirety of the credits:
Quote:
PRODUCED BY KONAMI
DIRECTED BY TRANS FISHERS

MUSIC BY JAMES BANANA
-THE CAST-

That's it, just three fake names and then a list of fake actors supposedly playing the characters. "James Banana" isn't even a person: the game had
two composers (and Hidenori Maezawa could possibly have worked on the music too in a technical role, though he doesn't remember what he did so it could've just been some SFX or something). This doesn't come across to me like it's supposed to map onto the developers, it comes across to me like someone had a goof one night and made up some fake credits, and I think it's a mistake to treat them like they're real credits.
At the very least, making James Banana an alias of Kinuyo Yamashita makes no sense; even the cited Wikipedia quote doesn't say it was Yamashita specifically!
