I have come to notice that the Capcom fandom wiki seems to list certain people to certain tracks, but I am not quite sure I believe them. But, if they are correct, could anyone point me where these were confirmed? It lists Creeping Wheeping as Yuki Iwai's work, Sleep Junk Down and France as Bun Bun/Fujita, and Lift Fighter II and Japan as Setsuo Yamamoto. It also lists Anie as England and one of the unused songs.
I am not so sure about, at least some of those (though I am, of course, willing to admit when I am wrong), as my trained ears am hearing Creeping Wheeping and Sleep Junk Down as Yamamoto, and Lift Fighter II as Yuki Iwai (though it does sound like it could potentially be Yamamoto, but Iwai was my first instinct on this one). France could be anyone, really, and I don't know much about Anie's work. I also strongly believe Carve a Dragon Wood to be Bun Bun. I don't know a ton about Mari. Spit on the Floor, the other unused song, is the only one I hear that sounds like it is probably Mari's work, and I am having a difficult time determining what song Yuko did. She usually has a very distinct style that I am not quite hearing in here. What do you think? Last edited by HarukameiKasumo; Jan 27, 2026 at 06:56 PM. |

You should assume any individual track attributions on that wiki are made up until proven otherwise (really any wiki that doesn't list sources but especially that one, those lists were compiled by a serial guesser who was frequently incorrect). The only confirmed Final Fight 2 credits I'm aware of are the three Dag listed in this post in the box set discussion thread

Yeah, I was just wondering if it was entirely made up, or if there was some source that stated this and the site failed to provide links. I was just looking to see if anyone knew anything else. I followed Fujita's links on the site that did not mention anything about what he did in Final Fight 2. The only song that sounds uniquely like him (in my opinion) is Carve a Dragon Wood. I hope to one day know what the hell Yuko did, as none of them sound like her to me. The only one that kind of does is the France theme, but it's not enough to say for absolute certain. Dag's mentions only one track, which already proves the wiki one false. I think Bun Bun did the majority of the soundtrack, from what I understand about it, probably very similar to Mega Man X where others may have contributed one or two tracks. I imagine the composers themselves very likely have no clue, as they have had too many games to remember what this one game they did all the way back, most likely at the beginning of their career. I think a lot of these notes that come out draw from notes they probably found, rather than memory.
