It's a composer project: we're writing music for a non-existent RPG.

Why? Is it non-existent because you're not sure how you want the RPG to be? Or is it supposed to be an RPG in another project?

Nope, it's just made up for composers. There was never going to be a real game.

Basically. However, it's written like an actual RPG soundtrack. Check out the tracklist for what I mean: battle themes, town themes, etc. With an actual story!

Think of it as a free RPG soundtrack when it's done.

Perhaps looping is what makes something sound like VGM most, rather than having a fantasy concept.

Yes LiquidAcid and Dario, similar to those ideas.

And Cedille, many of the tracks on this project will be looped with fadeout to give the proper "OST" impression.
