According to the comments on these YouTube videos, the composer for the Bike Athlon tracks is Kazuhiko Nagai. The comments are from Nagai.

Said channel of his also has a bunch of Nagai Works playlists, some for games that he was already known for and a bunch that, as far as I'm aware, were completely unknown to be his before.

Interestingly, a little while back a new user added this info to tracks 25 & 26 on this entry: "Sound Produced, Composed & Arranged by Kazuhiko Nagai." I rejected the edit because there was no source and I couldn't find anything tying Nagai in any way to Bike Athlon, but I guess it wasn't made up after all!

Did they make any edits to other albums? From what I can tell their account isn't around anymore, though maybe I just missed it. I see they (invan1986) were constantly editing the album to add that info. Considering their name and the fixation on Nagai, it could have been him under an alias (the name might be based on it, at least, since 1986 was the year he joined SEGA, van is NAV spelt backwards and in are the last and first letters respectively of Nagai).

I looked into the user at the time (I usually do in suspicious cases like these) and the edit behavior and some info tied to the account suggested it could be Nagai, but it wasn't conclusive

Track 27 uses the word "STAT" on the back cover and "START" in the booklet (pg. 11). It's named "Kickstart" everywhere on THE WORKS / JUN SENOUE though so start should be the intended word (makes more sense anyway).

The song from Power Sled, I would be my whole bank account on being Sachio Ogawa's work. It's essentially just a 4th fight song from SEGA Bass Fishing.
