One could argue we should credit Hirosato Noda and Masashi Hamauzu to the track 03 and 07, respectively. While only Nobuo Uematsu is credited as composer on both the OST and this album, Uematsu was presumably just credited for his motif being used and Noda and Hamauzu's roles would have been rather closer to composers.
Strangely, I don't remember any discussion on this, but nor do I think it has never occurred here. |

I must be looking at old translations or something... which track does "A Fleeting Dream" refer to?

Track 4.08 on the OST. It's the track that plays on the way from the Zanarkand camp to the ruins.

Tracklist is kinda dissapointing, I gotta say. No love for Nakano? No Decisive Battle or Quiet Before the Storm or Blitz Off? Meh. |

^ agreed completely, the tracklist is not very good. Probably the worst track selection of all the 'chips' releases. They're arranging "Otherworld" and "Prelude" but not "Luca" or "Thunder Plains"?! Boo!
