(Among those who played FFXI, Nanaa Mihgo is one of most fun and interesting characters. But what kind of arranged album will this be? I wonder...)

Apparently it's a musical unit that Naoshi Mizuta and a violinist that he works with do. They have a radio show I believe and have done a couple live shows I think. I don't know much more. They of course do Final Fantasy music, not sure if it's just from XI or if they do other stuff or other games.

Does the violinist cosplay as Nana Mihgo at these shows? What's the association with Mihgo in the act?

Oh wow. This is ... wow. Why didn't I know about this before? So it's a sort of jazzy/ electronic rebirth of The Star Onions?

The violinist isn't Mithra'd up, but imagining that she plays the role of Nana Mihgo in the group is entertaining to me at any rate.

Yes, I'm very much looking forward to it too. I guess Mizuta wanted to bring some more modern sounds to FFXI, after working on FFXIII-2. By the way, he met Nanaa Mihgo's Machi Okabe (violin) and Takuro Iga (piano) during the recording sessions of XIII-2!

I think they confirmed some tracks to be included on their CD already during a radio show a few days ago... Apart from the tracks already featured in their lives, I remember they mentioned "The Pioneers" from Adoulin.

The casing of "Nanaa" and "NaNaa" is a bit inconsistent, but it looks like it's "Nanaa" more often, including in their logo, so I went with that for the artist entry.

why was the title changed to just the generic Final FAntasy XI Arrange Album? Clearly the cover shows otherwise... CD Japan's order page does say this but it also says title subject to change...
