Does anybody else think this soundtrack is extremely overlooked and underrated? I personally think it rivals stuff such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI for the SNES.

BTW I think Shogo Sakai did most, if not all of the music here. A lot of the songs even sound like they could belong in Mother 3.

I'm only familiar with the SPC set names, but I really enjoy Field 1 (oo, that moment just before the loop), Oriharkon Mine 2 & Song of Platon's Son (those voice samples).

I wonder why a game with herakles in the title has atlantis
atlantis is "supposed" to have been far away from greece (around gulf of mexico)

just because of platon?

There have been location hypotheses for Atlantis all over the globe, but the most traditional ones placed it in the Mediterranean Sea. Gulf of Mexico isn't a very common supposition.
Anyway, I wouldn't think there'd be anything strange about a game associating a classic Greek legend with a classic figure of Greek mythology.

I seem to recall III and this being interesting. I kinda want to play this series, but last I heard they're still working on translating... IV I think?
