I have this one (Thunder Force IV is one of my personal favorites), and it's the same as the Thunder Force III re-release (I have this one also). It's the same tracklist + a 2014 arrange song at the end. Both soundtracks come in a slim cd case like the ones you find in the Gradius Ultimate Collection box.

Same tracklist, but all the tracks on this album have a couple extra seconds of silence at the end compared to the original. Plus "Space Walk" has been chopped up: the intro is cut short and the song fades out well before the loop point. Looks like it was sacrificed to fit the whole thing under 74 minutes, when they should have cut that lame new arrange track in half instead.

Thankfully the sound quality is exactly the same as the original.

E: "Lame" is strong language. It's an okay track.

I'd agree however that it's the weakest of the "2014" extra tracks.
