I'm glad Brawl Brothers is finally getting a full soundtrack release. I've also been meaning to listen to more from Jaleco.

Composer credits are taken from MobyGames, Arcade-History, staff roll videos, as well as the 8cm promo SUPER E.D.F. CD. Since there are four extra tracks on the soundtrack that are not on the promo CD, I added those tracks to both composers. The staff roll for SUPER E.D.F. only credits Yasuhiko Takashiba however, so I'm not entirely sure what to think.
I was unable to find any credible composer info for BIG RUN, Suchie-Pai, THE FREEDOM STAR and STREET JAM (this game doesn't even seem to exist anywhere). Scans are done. Edit: After listening to the P-47 soundtrack here, and comparing it to the arcade soundtrack by Sizlla Okamura from JALECO Retro Game Music Collection, it is clear that the MD is arranged from the arcade one, but I still have no idea if Okamura did it himself, or if someone else worked on it. He is mentioned in the special thanks section though. Last edited by BoneSatyr; Apr 22, 2015 at 08:02 AM. |

ラッシング・ビート乱 is romanized as "Rushing Beat Run" in the game.
"hyu" is Hajime Uchida, not Yasuyuki Suzuki; see this Zuntata live event page. MobyGames is incorrect. This version of THE FREEDOM STAR and STREET JAM were both unreleased, which is why you can't find any info. The booklet says Yasuyuki Suzuki worked on STREET JAM, but I don't know if it was just him. EDIT: Re. EDF, Tawada did the original arcade soundtrack by himself and Takashiba did the SNES soundtrack (porting, new songs) by himself. MORE EDITS: TIM-SFC07 clarifies that both Ishida and Takashiba composed music for DEAD DANCE; the game uses the more ambiguous "sound composed by." TIM-SFC08 credits Ishida and Isemura for four songs from Suchie-Pai; it is theoretically possible that more people wrote music for the game too, I guess. Very nice! Thanks for helping out with this.
I figured the "unreleased" part of THE FREEDOM STAR and STREET JAM was the music. So the games themselves have never even been released? |

Oh yeah, "unreleased" was referring to the games themselves, not just the music.
