Hello, I added this great album to the database.
I'm new to this, could anyone else who has this album or information help me out a little with it, to complete it, to perfectionate it, does anyone has scans, does anyone knows how I can tag, can anyone help me with notes, at the end, can anyone help me perfectionate or complete it? Please.

Welcome!

You can find the credits for this one on joshinweb: http://joshinweb.jp/dp/4988001915904.html

The site is in japanese, but it lists the vocalists (Artist) and lyricists (作詞) for each vocal songs. You can copy the japanese names on the search bar here on vgmdb and it will usually find an artist page with the romanized name. If it doesn't and you're not sure about it, you can just leave it in japanese.

As for formatting the notes, since this is a big album you can follow this as an example: http://vgmdb.net/album/53126

You can just write the artist names in their respective fields (Lyricist, Performer) as well as in the notes, then we'll take care of linking them to their respective entries.

Default Question about: https://vgmdb.net/album/152812

Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of trying to document all Doraemon music.

Until now, I was under the impression that for Doraemon movies released in 1980-2004, the OP, ED, and insert songs were released across various albums, and only some of the OSTs were released in Sound Track History.

However, this album really has me stumped...

I would appreciate any kind of information about the release of this album, which seemingly has the OST of the 1998 Doraemon movie, and would also like to know if similar albums were released for other Doraemon movies belonging to the same period.

This OST album does not have the OST of the 1998 Doraemon movie, particularly, because that was the first not done by Shunsuke Kikuchi, the 1998 OST was one of the few and only one in that era that got a OST soundtrack. (https://vgmdb.net/album/152812). The scores for movies '98 to '04 were done by someone else and only the '98 movie got a soundtrack release. The '05 series's movies got a ''Soundtrack Collection'' as well, 2 & 3 which you might have found already with music by Ken Sawada, one in 2010, another in 2015 (I could recall wrong) then in 2018, the movies got a new composer, Takayuki Hattori, and I believe they all had a soundtrack.

This album has mostly Shinsuke Kikuchi's work for the series, consisting all the wau up to the time of the release, including the stereo music done late in the series' time. Also includes some songs (in TV size) because Kikuchi wrote them. And in the second disc, a small BGM suite per a selection of movies up to 1997 (the last movie Shinsuke worked on, Doraemon wise) and to end the release, a short selection of suites from the theatrical Doraemon shorts he did the music for.

Kikuchi material always out here getting shafted one way or the other… a tale as old as anime.

Yeah I knew that Kikuchi did not work after that, but I asked it here because it was closely related. Thanks .

I also confirmed that the 1998 album was an exception.
