This song is a cover of REBECCA 4th single and also their most famous.
Added arrangement as the original song was arranged by REBECCA and "featured" for NOKKO (lyrics) and Akio Dobashi (composition). Same for the OST release |

Dobashi was the series composer though. It's hardly a featured credit when he was involved with the production.

So, self-cover by the composer. You may have a point.
But I disagree for NOKKO not featured. She wrote the lyrics in 1985. She's not involved in this cover, not directly. Or I misunderstood the "feature" option... I also disagree with the removal of arrangement for the album. Junpei Fujita was not original arranger; so it's an arrangement. And not a good one IMHO ![]() Last edited by Daemonskald; Aug 28, 2016 at 03:16 PM. |

I mean to say I don't think it's a coincidence that they used a song he composed for a show that he worked on.
I think it would be odd to mark the lyricist as featured but not the composer. I don't imagine either were officially involved since Fujita arranged it. But it's still Dobashi's song being used on a Dobashi soundtrack. Given this context, it's kind of an official, approved cover of the song. The feature option is more for different kind of arrangements (remix albums, fan arranges, arrange albums, etc.) where the original songwriters weren't involved in any way. I don't think this one falls into that category. I added arrangement back. |
