Were the English titles listed here taken from the Tiger Lab Vinyl, or is this another Castlevania situation where they just copied the translations from VGMdb? Additionally, I noticed that the titles listed on the vinyls published by Kana Music also match those featured on VGMdb, and since those tracklists haven't been revised since 2012, that would seem to indicate that the Kana Music titles were simply copied from VGMdb.

I haven't re-watched the series recently enough to fully comment on all the translations, but I do have a few suggestions.

Spoiler:

• "Incident" might be a more appropriate translation for "事件" than "The Event" since the latter makes it sound like the track is in reference to a single specific event despite it being a reoccurring track.

• I've seen a few examples of "戦慄" being officially translated as "Shudder" in other things such as Castlevania, Einhänder, and Etrian Odyssey.

• I would translate "追跡" as just "Pursuit" rather than "The Pursuit" because that's what the fourth episode of the anime (which is also titled "追跡") was translated as.

• While "孤独" can be translated as "Loneliness," I think I recall this track being associated with Light, so I feel that "Solitude" would be a more fitting choice of word. Side-note, despite Misa's name being featured in the similarly named track, "ミサの孤独," I think the track was only ever used during Mikami's flashback in episode 32.

• "死神界" was officially translated as "Shinigami Realm" in both the anime and manga.

• "Throbbing" strikes me as an odd choice of word for "鼓動." I would probably go with either "Pulse" or "Heartbeat" instead.

• While "推理" can be translated as "Reasoning," I feel that "Deduction" might be a more suitable translation for it.

• I'd translate "対峙" as "Confrontation" rather than "Confronting."

I also noticed that there were a couple formatting inconsistencies between the three albums. Firstly, "Misa's Theme A" is the only track with a "B" variant that's labeled with an "A." Furthermore, a track on the second album is labeled "for Orchestra" while another on the third is instead labeled "Orchestra Version." I'm not 100% certain, so correct me if I'm mistaken, but I think the difference between the "B" and "II" tracks are that the former are different songs used for scenes with the same context as their counterparts while the latter are instead variations of their counterparts. However, while this is also applicable to "Near" and "Near 2," "Mello" and "Mello 2" don't appear to share the same melody which puts a dent in this observation unless there was a specific reason for the use of Arabic numerals over Roman ones for those two specific tracks.

"退屈" ("Boredom") is also the title of the first volume and chapter of the manga.

"黒いライト" translates to "Black Light" which might refer to the ultraviolet lights used in forensics to reveal crime scene evidence, and/or the darker nature of the protagonist, Light Yagami. However, I think "黒い" can also be read as "dark," so it's possible that it's intended to be read as "Dark Light."

Something that I still wonder about though is if "Low of Solipsism" was a misspelling of "Law of Solipsism." "Solipsism" refers to the philosophical idea that an individual's own consciousness is the only thing they can know with certainty exists, and thus all things outside it may therefore not be real. If we assume that it was supposed to be "Law" then the title may have been intended to convey the idea of practicing or adhering to the concept of "Solipsism." However, I suppose it's also possible that by "Low" they actually meant to say something like the "Depths of Solipsism," which might convey the idea of someone who's sunk into the philosophy of Solipsism.

Come to think of it, what's "Alumina" meant to refer to? It's apparently another name for aluminum oxide, but I'm not sure if that's the intended meaning behind the track title, or what the significance of it would even be if it was.
