booklet says arakawa composed music, yamazaki made sound effects and voices
obi also mentions arakawa as composer (and no mention of yamazaki, hence the removing)

The booklet makes it very explicit that both Arakawa and Yamazaki composed, with Arakawa mentioning that it was about a 50/50 split between them. Yamazaki says that he composed the darker side of the soundtrack and Arakawa the lighter tracks. Additionally, in response to the last question of the interview, Arakawa and Yamazaki mention WARM CITY and JUNIOR CLASS respectively as tracks that they composed. The obi cites only Arakawa specifically in the context that it's advertising the new arrangement that he did for this album.

Composer breakdown that I added on the page came from correspondence with Arakawa. Yamazaki's contributions in particular are of interest to me; it was his last work before joining Square and he was not able to compose again for 5 years, but still did a lot of synth programming work that sometimes blurred the line with arranging (i.e Unlimited SaGa). It does feel like his tracks in the game may have been a large influence on Racing Lagoon's soundtrack, which he only synth programmed three tracks for, however "Clone Lab" and "Highway" both have the same choral sample at the start and I doubt this was a coincidence.

I also noticed the frequency of most tracks here cut off a little under 19khz, making me think the masters are lost. Nogi probably just recorded everything directly from the game, not only the sequenced area themes but everything else which I assume must be in XA ADPCM format. In fact the sequenced tracks seem to cut off at 16khz.
