Default ZCDS-0001: Hourai Ningyou ~ Dolls in Pseudo Paradise -ZUN Collection de...
This extremely rare alternate printing of ZCDS-0001 was only sold at C62.

Until recently, it was for sale on Surugaya for an insane price of 4 million yen.




As of last month the item is no longer in stock, leading some to believe that it actually sold.

Surugaya offers to buy used copies for 1.4 million yen. It's without a doubt the most expensive game music CD in existence.

I just now realized that 3,000,000 yen isn’t $3,000 but is actually $30,000. That is completely insane.

There's a copy on YJA now with a minimum bid of “only” 600,000 yen. We’ll see if anyone buys it.

Touhou fandom + the extremely small number of copies in existence.

Touhou has the biggest game music scene in the world and this was the first official soundtrack ever released.

I've literally never seen an actual copy of the 1st printing of the very first Touhou soundtrack go up for auction. But here it is...with a starting bid of ¥1,300,000 (approximately $11,990).
