Recording studio information from booklet scans. Should I submit them if the scans aren't mine?

Your draft submission has been rejected.

When submitting drafts, you should add the credits verbatim. You shouldn't need to alter them in any way - the system will take care of it.

So you can see for yourself, try submitting a new draft using the raw text:

Produce: ピクセルビー
Music compose, Lyric: ピクセルビー
Recording studio: STAINLESS KITCHEN STUDIO
Jacket Illustration: 基4％
Jacket Design: ハッピーオエカキ

For more information on how to use the drafts system, please see this thread. If you intend to submit more drafts, then you definitely need to read it. You can always ask questions here or in Discord if you aren't sure about something.

As for your other question: you are allowed to upload scans here even if they aren't yours.

I guess I didn't read that thread on submitting drafts carefully enough. It wasn't clear to me from the instructions that the credits should be pasted verbatim into the mass add box, even though the example shows it that way and it says the credited names are preferred. There are other pages on this site with drafts that still use the generic 'Composer', 'Performer', etc. tags and don't mention the recording studios or booklet designers up there, so I was just replicating what I saw on those. I'll update the outdated pages which I've seen in the future.

I have a couple of questions. The booklet has more complete credits than those found on the website so I went to submit those in a draft as follows:

All songs were written by: ピクセルビー
Producer, Director: Shigenori Kudo
Vocal: monet
Recording studio: STAINLESS KITCHEN STUDIO
CD jacket Illustration: 基4％
Design & icons: HappyOekaki designteam

1. I'm guessing the Producer and Director roles should be separated because they are distinct enough. What about Design & Icons? Neither "Design & icons" or just "Icons" are roles in the system. Which should I request?
2. monet isn't listed in the credits for the vocals on the website for any of the 5 Pixelbee albums I submitted. She's mentioned in the booklet for this one but I don't have the booklets for some of the other ones (as of yet. I just ordered these CDs.) Does that mean I should leave her name off the drafts for those?

If so, that's a little disappointing. My intention in submitting these was to make it so all of monet's albums are listed on her artist page. If her name should be left off, I understand. It's likely only temporary until I see the booklets for sure. I'm just curious what the correct course of action is.

Yes, pages like that are from the old system. That system was deprecated a little over a year ago and replaced by the current system. While the old system was only capable of handling a few static credits (like composer performer, etc.) the new system is capable of adding any type of credit including illustrators and label staff.

The parser isn't currently capable of handling roles separated by 'and' or '&', so those should be comma separated instead. Though be wary of credits like "Recording & Mixing Engineer" - those should be separated as "Recording Engineer" and "Mixing Engineer" rather than "Recording" and "Mixing Engineer". Also, be sure to use the "Check for missing roles" button before adding to make sure nothing get skipped. While the database is very robust (over 12,000 unique words), there are still many variations missing. If you find one that's missing, it should be requested in this thread.

It looks like monet was listed as the vocalist of the group on the profile page of Pixelbee's website at the time. On the draft page, there is a uncredited checkbox (UNC) which you can use in cases where we know an artist worked on something but isn't officially credited. You just need to be sure to provide a source when using that checkbox. Though it sounds like you'll be able to verify it once you receive the albums anyways.
