Happy new year everyone!
So, are there any news about a soundtrack release? Did Mitsuda tweet anything?

I'd expect a longer delay between game release and OST release than we saw with Xenoblade 2 (5.5 months), given the only tweet so far on the subject, and the fact that Xenoblade 3 was released earlier than planned... and the fact that it's now been 5.5 months.

Maybe they will do like Fire Emblem: Three Houses, waiting for the release of all content of the Season Pass, before releasing the soundtrack?

I'm still playing through the core game now. Have there been new environments and/or new events that have additional music not found in the main game in any of the expansion passes?

Not in the one released, but the final story DLC is going to be similar in scope to the one from 2 which had it's own release of new tracks.

If they're waiting for that story DLC to come out, then I definitely prefer it, since the Torna music was only ever made available digitally. It would be nice to have all of the new story content's music on the initial physical release of the soundtrack if they can.

I was thinking the same. However, the final DLC wave will come out at the end of the year on December 31th with new story scenario and probably new music, if they do a similar job as with Torna.

It sucks to wait another whole year for this great soundtrack, but it doesn't help. Maybe it will be released earlier and an additional mini soundtrack for the DLC later.

Yeah, I saw the social media post by Mitsuda this morning. Amazing! Not only we got our long-awaited XBC3 OST (9 Discs), we also get the full XBC1 Definitive Edition and Future Connected OSTS (3 years after the initial "Sound Selection" CD, yasss!). But what I'm really hyped for is the monstrous 20-Disc Box Set with music from the whole Xenoblade series! What a gift for fans... the wait was worth it.
