Pretty nice Electro / Kraftwerk sounding stuff.
I'm digging tracks 3,5,7 on first listen now.

Full streaming plays of all tracks, and plenty of options for formats when purchasing digitally (Ogg, FLAC, etc)

I made some tweaks to the album title and tracklist to be consistent with the webpage and FLAC version tags (which are identical). However, both list the artist as "Sidhe", which is clearly a Bandcamp limitation, since the company is listed as the artist. It should remain as "Module" here on VGMdb.

I noticed that they are doing an offer on this album at the moment, pay whatever you want as long as its more than $1, and it runs until Christmas day. Well worth picking up.

Definitely. I purchased it immediately after hearing it in the VGMdb podcast and it was well worth it, even at $10.

I get so many feelings and ideas from these tracks. "Neon Mines" reminds me of Super Metroid's Brinstar if it had been written today.

Yup, this is a very nice soundtrack indeed. I listened to in on the official site and I just had to buy it. I also like how they offer various formats including lossless for us "nerds".

I too recommend picking up this album, especially within the next two days while their offer of $1+ is still good.

What is "the box" that people are supposed to think outside of anyway? Hmm. Maybe it's similar to the Borg from Star Trek who dwelled as a collective hive-mind within a...box/cube. Those that deviated from this hive-mind would, in effect, be thinking outside of the box. it has both a figurative and a literal meaning.

For just $1, consider it an early "Mega" Christmas deal.

I wonder about track 14, shouldn't it be listed on the tracklist?, it's kind strange not seeing track 14 on the tracklist since it is a track and regardless of being a bonus track it is still track 14. It is a continuous number so it is a part of the album.

Was track 14 added just for this promotion? It highlights one of the difficulties about digital releases, namely that tracks can be added to and removed from a release at any time. These are things we're going to have to figure out how to deal with as digital releases become more common.

It was not present when the album was first released, but was added shortly after (long before the current promotion). I would personally include it in the tracklist, with a mention in the notes that it was added later on.

Yes I totally agree with you about Digital Releases. I vote to add tracks on tracklists as they are added, if for instance any track was removed then I would finalize that album meaning no more editing on tracklists from that point. I can cope with adding new tracks to digital releases as long as they are continuous numbers but not removing any existing track from it. That would result in a total mess.

Well from what I could understand, the first 13 tracks can be sold separately and the last one only if you buy the whole album, track 14 can not be sold separately. So the track 14 gets my vote to be added.

I too agree that any additional tracks should be added to the tracklist to reflect what's currently available but if there are any changes in the order of the tracks, perhaps this should simply be stated in the Notes section as opposed to redoing the entire tracklist.

I'd give it an entry as a promo/gift, and mention the contest in the notes. It looks like there is an extra track on there too, though it's unclear to me whether it's music or data.

Seems like it's that bonus track (#14) that was added later on in the digital release.
Most probably music then.

Oh well, I'll be sure to check that when I get my signed copy

We might want to create a new entry for the physical album, either as a child album or vice-versa.

I would say the physical album should be the child since the digital album was released first. Digital releases are going to be more common as time goes on and we need to be ready to propel them into the spotlight as physical media becomes less common.

Ordered my copy today, nice that they finally decided to release it as a physical album. Now this should also happen for Mirror's Edge, BLACK (by Giacchino and Tilton) and Lair (by John Debney) and then I'm happy

Damn...

Unfortunately, it turns out that the "Module: Shatter the the official soundtrack" CD you ordered is out of stock right now.
Looks like it quickly went OOP, I assume the batch was very small...

EDIT: Site still says that it's 'out of stock' (and not OOP). Wonder if a new batch is on the way to CDBaby --- just wrote them a mail to get clarification...
