A recent edit changed the arranger from Ryo Yonemitsu to Falcom Sound Team jdk. Does anyone have a source that can confirm this one way or the other?

I guess that depends on how much credit you give a previous arranger for subsequent arrangements. I'm pretty sure Ryo Yonemitsu was no longer arranging music for Falcom when these games came out. The liner notes just say All Songs by Sound Team JDK.

Am I right that disc 1 track 18 "Ys Eternal -Opening-" hasn't been used in any other Ys I & II albums? Would be interesting to know who composed this one, it has a nice passage midway through.

Falcom Music Channel lists Arai for the opening and Shirakawa for Roda. I asked the channel runner about it and apparently those were personally confirmed by one of the other composers.
