Adding releases from Nintendo Music
@MudaMuda7

Your submission has been rejected.

Type: new album

Reason: We don't currently accept soundtracks locked inside proprietary music apps unless there's a way to export the music from the application, which there isn't for Nintendo Music.

If you feel the rejection is in error, please post further information or evidence here.

This prevention of the official title metadata from being cataloged from the app in general is a real bummer, would you reconsider?

This is part of a broader policy where we don't catalog albums unless they're distributed in a way that allows you to possess the music itself in a meaningful way, which is why we also don't cover streaming-only releases (this also applies to Nintendo Music) or albums posted on YouTube/SoundCloud/etc. We don't have plans to change this policy in the immediate future.

It would be nice to be able to catalog the new, official translations in a more robust way, but right now editors are free to either add a new tracklist to an existing soundtrack album (less useful here since we don't have a Metroid Fusion tracklist to go with it) or post the tracklist in the discussion thread for the product (our database coverage of Nintendo games is fairly good)

As another solution, you can probably add this and similar albums to Musicbrainz. It seems they accept streaming only releases as well. An example
