In addition to this, am I correct to assume that none of the songs on this album are actually used in Sonic live action movies? Based on/inspired by type of deal? Just wanted to clarify this because the notes don't have such info, thanks.

Yes, they are all based on the films. I'll keep that in mind to mention in future releases!
