Default Virtual Hydlide re-arranged

Hi all,

I played Virtual Hydlide in the early 2000s and loved the atmosphere and music very much.

Yes, the gameplay left a lot to be desired -even then!- but still...it was the first (action)RPG that let you run around in an open world and explore. The music always sounded a bit compressed though and I thought it could use an overhaul.

The original sound track was composed by Japanese composer Yumi Kinoshita (now mrs. Sakata) and I would like to acknowledge her outstanding and imaginative work.
It was very interesting to peel the music apart, layer after layer, and reinterpret the melodies and harmonies as well as grappling with some quirky surprises in tempo and structure.
I took a selection of tracks I love, did choose to simplify a few things, leaving out sequences I felt made it a bit too "cluttered", did some re-arranging and added a little variation here and there, but overall I tried to stay as close to the original Saturn sound as possible.

I hope you'll like it!
