Because everybody knows Japanese prints > all others.
That copy is factory sealed and a true collectors item, hence the high price.

Interesting, it looks like our Front scan might be from that bootleg. There is a Nintendo copyright in the lower right of the Case Front scan, so i'll make that the default image, and move the Front scan over to the bootleg.
