there is a typo in the tracklist (booklet, back)
track18 ... itsutai ... should ... ittai ... (with a little tsu)

I wonder if that should be corrected (japanese tracklist)

I'm not 100 percent certain this is a typo, because one could argue using that Tsu instead of the smaller one is the stylistic intention. Also, I read in the past that we should keep even an obvious typo, unless it was officially corrected on the official website or a later print of the soundtrack (not sure we're always consist in this regard, though).

Either way, I'd agree the romanization has to be "ittai". Same for the translation.

I removed Richie Kotzen and Richie Zito from the arrangers' list since the booklet doesn't credit them clearly as such.

I did not see this mentioned elsewhere but the North America release of this album has an altered tracklist. Besides missing track 20 it also only has half of track 11, I don't know why this is the case and I have not seen anyone ever mention/notice this. I own both, but this is easily verified by viewing the track time on a NA copy and comparing it to the JP times here, I also believe the NA version of RUIN has changes.

Thanks for that information. I created a new album page for the North American release. Could you verify that I got the times right?

Man that was fast I actually deleted my notes on the JP track thinking I overlooked this entry, lol. Yes I will take a look at the times and compare them. They are correct enough imo, only a few tracks are + or - 1 second and that may jut be differences in how playback software totals times (using WMP at the moment and it may be rounding times).

We have 2 sets of scans
one for the current PICA-1252 by Geneon
and the other one PICA-1242 by Pioneer

I'll let someone else create a new entry and move the scans maybe.

Hello, I was looking at my two Hellsing CDs that I got several years back and noticed something peculiar. The catalog codes are KO-88248 and HO-012, however this doesn't match up with the original's catalog code nor the bootleg's. Does this mean mine are just different bootlegs?

The one for Raid has a logo saying "K-O Records LTD" while the one for Ruins says "SMILE FACE INTERNATIONAL RECORDS CO. ,LTD. MADE IN TAIWAN"

Yes, KO-88248 and HO-012 are bootlegs from different companies.

Ah I see, I figured as much. My Gungrave OST turned out to be one as well but luckily those three turned out to be the only ones in my collection, which I intend to replace.

I was looking at Yasushi Ishii's blog and saw that he replied to some comments about Hellsing earlier this month: http://blog.livedoor.jp/daibakarenji....html#comments

In response to a request, he uploaded a couple zip files with mp3 files:
http://bakadera2.php.xdomain.jp/2022/hellsing.zip
http://durga.la.coocan.jp/hellsing2.zip

The first archive contains 6 tracks not recorded on the soundtrack. The second archive contains demo versions for "The World Without Logos", "Nirvana Overcome by Fools", "Requiem for the Living" and 4 more unrecorded tracks.

He said there's still a few more unrecorded tracks but he doesn't have them at home.
