Yoshinori Ono was interviewed in the April 2011 issue of Nintendo power. Birthdate of August 10, 1971, and birthplace of Osaka come from there.
The abbreviated works list accompanying the interview lists three games which NP says he worked on as a composer: X-Men: Children of the Atom (ARC), Street Fighter Alpha (ARC), and Magical Tetris Challenge (N64). The thing is that none of these games credit him as a composer, or in fact anywhere for sound. (I'm not sure he's anywhere in the credits period, but I'm leaving open the possibility that I'm blind or there's an alias we don't know about.) X-Men: Children of the Atom:
Street Fighter Alpha:
Magical Tetris Challenge:
I'm willing to chalk most of this up to NP mistranslating or otherwise misinterpreting his roles in these games, since being omitted from the credits of three games seems a bit unlikely. It does appear that he was involved with Street Fighter Alpha in some way, though. Involvement with the series is mentioned in the introduction of this Capcom interview: http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/interview...l07/index.html. There's also this question from the NP one: Quote:
Just dropping this off here for the Capcom Crew. |
