Guys,
the Gunsmoke theme here is a cover of the Nes theme.
The Nes soundtrack was composed by Swimmer Tamichan (Junko Tamiya) while the arcade soundtrack was composed by Ayako Mori (confirmation on booklet also).
Remember the arcade one was different from the Nes one.
Junko Tamiya on Gunsmoke soundtrack has takes inspiration by old western movie music espacially from Ennio Morricone.

I've seen here and on most doujin albums that Yoshihiro Sakaguchi credits were removed from any Duck Tales theme.
Is still unconfirmed that Sakaguchi composed that soundtrack?

There is no proof that Sakaguchi didn't compose DuckTales.

It isn't mentioned in this interview, but it was indeed confirmed, during the interview process, that he did not. That is proof enough, unless you doubt him.

No, I don't doubt him. I wasn't aware this was confirmed "behind-the-scenes". Thanks for making that clear.

do you referer to this quote ?
Quote:
When I moved to the NES and SNES, I took on sound driver programming. At that time the game hardware was improving, so I sought ways to improve the quality of the sound as well. It wasn't inspiration, but I looked at other works, and, aiming to improve upon what had been done, gathered a team of dedicated members. I left the composing to the others.

No, it was something that was cut entirely at his request. He specifically denied having composed DuckTales.

No problem. Sorry if I came off as a bit argumentative.
