Originally established in Osaka in 1969 by Kagemasa Kozuki and later incorporated on March 19, 1973. In 1982, some responsibilities were separated into a new company, Konami Co., Ltd. In 1991, Konami and Konami Industry would merge back together under the name Konami Co., Ltd.
