Reading confirmed by the credits of Kenji Kawai Concert 2007 DVD. His kanji name could be find on the official website.

Adjusted the family/given name break. Okawara is 大河原 (おおかわら), not just 大河. He's got a small little profile here: http://k-mp.jp/newpage14.html.

Seems like this may be his Twitter account: http://twitter.com/wataruokawara. It's really sparse so I can't confirm it, but Google's cache says his display name used to be "大河原　渉," not "Wataru Okawra" as it is now.
